Scott Walker
Executive Director & Sr. Pastor
Scott is an ordained minister who has served in full-time ministry since 1993. Previously serving both as an associate minister & senior minister in McAlester, Scott felt called to lead the church as a whole, in the McAlester area, towards benevolent, hands-on ministry. With a passion for church unity and compassion based ministries, Scott works to bring believers together, across the community, to meet needs and live out their faith.
Scott is a graduate of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. He has been married for 20 years to Christi and they have 2 children, Landon (19) and Micayla (10).
Bill & Earlene Dowell
Directors
Earlene Dowell has served as our Director for the past 6 years. Her love for people and heart of compassion are evident to everyone who comes through Shared Blessings. Earlene oversees the day to day ministry and works hand-in-hand with the daily volunteers to run the clothing ministry, food pantry and benevolent requests. Her dedication to people and the ministry continues to make Shared Blessings a place of true compassion.
Bill Dowell has served as our Assistant Director for the past 5 years. His multi-faceted skills have proved invaluable to the ministry. Bill is a talented carpenter who handles the many building repair and expansion needs within the ministry. Beyond the physical skills, Bill possesses a true compassion and sensitivity for people. Most who enter Shared Blessings will find Bill waiting at the front desk with a smile and genuine passion to meet their need.
As a team, Bill and Earlene Dowell are the heartbeat of Shared Blessings day-to-day ministry.
