School Supplies - Back To School Bash
School Supplies - Back To School Bash
Financial donations are still being received. It only takes a $15 donation to enable a child to receive these necessary supplies for the upcoming school year. To get involved financially with Shared Blessings, checks can be made out to Shared Blessings and mailed to PO Box 328, McAlester, OK 74502. All financial donations are tax deductable. You can help a child by giving them the tools they need to learn as well as protecting them from unnecessary feelings of fear and insecurity as school begins. We are preparing over 1000 backpacks full of school supplies to be given out to area children this year. This is a great opportunity for the community to step up and take care of the children in this area. Don't hesitate to get involved.” Scott Walker, Executive Director.
“This event is a cooperative effort of so many. From local churches, and individual donors, to area businesses and community agencies. We could not do it without the help of so many. " - Earlene Dowell, Director.
